Kamloops Search and Rescue helps out injured mountain biker

— From iNFONews.ca — KAMLOOPS - A group of mountain bikers in the Kamloops area "did everything right" when they realized an injured friend needed medical attention. Kamloops Search and Rescue manager Alan Hobler says crews responded to a report of an injured mountain biker on Sunday, May 21. Hobler said there was fear the injured biker was suffering from a spinal injury, but they friends he was biking with in the Jamieson Creek Forest Service Road area took good care of him and called for assistance. Injured elderly woman rescued from trail south of Kamloops

— From InfoNews – KAMLOOPS – Search and rescue crews carried an injured woman on a stretcher along icy trails for more than a kilometre from the wooded area of McConnell Lake south of Kamloops yesterday. The woman, in her 70s, was taken to hospital after crews safely transported her from the area where she fell to the waiting ambulance, according to Alan Hobler with Kamloops Search and Rescue. Report of two in the Thompson River was actually a dog and owners

Kamloops Search and Rescue looks back on a record 2016
