KAMLOOPS – Search and rescue crews carried an injured woman on a stretcher along icy trails for more than a kilometre from the wooded area of McConnell Lake south of Kamloops yesterday.
The woman, in her 70s, was taken to hospital after crews safely transported her from the area where she fell to the waiting ambulance, according to Alan Hobler with Kamloops Search and Rescue.
